Day 1 climbing the Mountain

This is a picture of part of the Mountain that we climbed. We climbed this on the first day, while we had lots of free time. This is more of the Mountain. The only thing we could say while climbing up was, WOW!
The Pine trees in Colorado were very pretty. I loved taking pictures of the pine needles.

The view from the top of the lowest part of the hill was this, but when you see the top of the highest part you will see how even more beautiful.

This is just more of the mountains.

Kansas and Getting to Camp

This is us after we got to Ponderosa. We set up camp and just relaxed.

This is Josie when we got to Ponderosa, I took this from my bunk looking down at her.

This is us looking out the van, viewing Kansas. This was just some of the very few trees we saw.

This was a farm, in the middle of Kansas.

A Wonderful Place to Be

The last five days we spent in Colorado. We stayed at a place called Ponderosa Ranch, it was a very lovely place. It made you feel right at home. It had an up and downstairs. On the main level you walked into there was a kitchen, complete with refrigerator, sink, and microwave. To your left was a room full of bunk beds, this was the girls second room, we had so many girls and guys that we need four rooms to sleep everyone. So once you walked through the kitchen on that same side was the girls second room. There was where I slept for all four nights. But continuing the tour, in all the bunk rooms were bathrooms, complete with two showers, two toilets, and 3 sinks. Down the stairs in front of the kitchen led you to the commons area. There they had tables set up for us to eat on and play cards on. We also held worship in this big area, it had a fire place, and a piano. Some other great things about this ranch was that a few feet away was a big shower house, and a little farther was a game hall. In this area was foosball tables, ping pong tables, air hockey, pool, and some other game tables. Downstairs there also was a basketball court.
This is where we stayed for 4 days, we had a great time together. So I will just start you out with this bit of information before I put on some pictures and get into the good stuff.
